A casual vacancy by JK Rowling. She wrote the Harry Potter books and its her first adult focused novel. It’s an interesting story about a small town that has a city councilman die and the quest to fill his seat. Show the sweet, quirky and sinister side of people as they introduce all the characters. The paragraphs jump to different people’s point of view, so you learn the judgements of others and they feel about themselves and their motivations. It’s interesting so far.
