You must have a really good camera

Ever notice that people usually say you have a nice camera when they see a photo they like? This cracks me up. Maybe it’s my incredibly talented eye. Or my amazing sense of lighting and mood? Hee hee.

Here are some photos taken with a camera phone, a Nikon, a Kodak disposable, and an old school Polaroid camera. Betcha you can’t figure out which is which is which. And really, who cares.

Couldn’t agree with you more Mrs. Kowal! A camera only projects what the artist is seeing through the viewfinder.

Ugh.. I love using my Polaroid but the film is so darn expensive! All the images look great!

my photos are never that great, but every once in a while I take a great one! I have a fancy Nikon DLSR but I take almost all my photos on my phone because it’s convenient and usually I’m too busy to lug around the big-girl camera! I’d rather be out there living than spending a ton of time taking a photo.

(not to mean that I don’t love and have a ton of respect for the photography process– my husband is a huge black and white photography buff, and there’s something special about working with the chemicals and spending a long time on a special piece… but usually I just don’t have the time to devote to that!)

Agree: Some of my best photos were with my “crappy” digital camera or cell phone. I have a good/fancy Nikon which I use often but its never a guarantee the pics will great!
