To top off our 100 degree summer – we’ve been getting crazy midday storms! Island weather without the drinks with pretty umbrellas.
So of course we have to keep the house like the tundra. My sister brought me these beautiful flowers – look at them after a night in the house. They’ve gone and shriveled up.
Too hot outside. Too cold inside.
What’s this post about? I don’t know. I’m too hot. And cold.

Okay, Katy Perry. The flowers still have a lovely shabby chic-ness to them.

I have daily thoughts about moving to Alaska.

You ever see even a glimpse of any of those reality shows based in Alaska? I know how you love you some TV err pop culture. What about Iceland? That place looks very um (pardon the pun) cool. Let’s move to Iceland!

Ofcourse I’ve seen them! Ice Road Truckers is my fav. If only I could harness all this bad-tv-watching time to save the world or something….oh well. Yes, Iceland here we come!!

We’re in North Carolina where the temperature was 70 degrees on my morning run. So much better than the sweltering Midwest and the stifling East Coast. Tell me I don’t have to go home, please.

70 degrees? Are you wearing a sweater? Enjoy it sister!

I did catch myself complaining a bit this morning sitting on the back porch sipping coffee. It was a bit chilly. Then I remembered that it’s scorching back home and shut up 🙂
